I believe that all the actors and actresses did a wonderful.
Catherine-Zeta-Jones deserved that Oscar, and it was a very well done
movie. The music was wonderful, and you can really get lost into the plot.
    Loved it!!

Everyone whining about “what it would if it was men singing this.. Boo
    hoooo..”
Guess what, this song was supposed to be in the 20s.. You know how they
    were for women?
Also, men haven’t suffered generations of rape, trafficking, slut shaming,
dowry, stoning for adultery, no right to vote, education, female feticide,
    forced abortion etc etc

    So yeah.

You aren’t supposed to sympathize with these women. They are depicted as
outrageous. There’s no double standard to be found in this particular case.

    [LIZ,ANNIE,JUNE,MONA]

    Ruth,Gladys,
    Rose-marie and Irving (un homme).

    You know how people
    have these little habits
That get you down. Like Bernie.
    Bernie like to chew gum.
    No, not chew. POP.
So I came home this one day
And I am really irritated, and I’m
looking for a bit of sympathy
    and there’s Bernie layin’
on the couch, drinkin’ a beer
    and chewin’. No, not chewin’.
Poppin’. So, I said to him,
    I said, “you pop that

    So, we started living together.
He’d go to work, he’d come home, I’d

    And then I found out,
    “Single” he told me?
    Single, my ass. Not only
    was he married
…oh, no, he had six wives.
One of those Mormons, you know. So that

    My sister, Veronica and
    I had this double act
    and my husband, Charlie,
    traveled around with us.
Now, for the last number in
our act, we did 20 acrobatic tricks
one two three four, five…splits, spread eagles,
    back flips,flip flops,
    one right after the other.
Well, this one night we were in the hotel Cicero,
    the three of us,
    boozin’ and
    havin’ a few laughs
when we run out of ice.
So I went out to get some.
I come back, open the door
    and there’s Veronica and
    Charlie doing Number Seventeen-
    the spread eagle.

Well, I was in such a state of shock,
    I completely blacked out.I can’t remember a thing.
    It wasn’t until later,
when I was washing the blood off my hands
I even knew they were dead.

    They had it coming
    They had it coming
They had it coming all along

    I loved Alvin Lipschitz
more than I can possibly say.
He was a real artistic guy…
    sensitive… a painter.
    But
    He was always trying
    to find himself.
    He’d go out every night
    looking for himself
    and on the way
    he found Ruth,
    Gladys,
    Rosemary and Irving.
I guess you can say we broke
    up because of artistic differences.
    He saw himself as alive
    and I saw him dead.

She said she was single, single my ass, she fucked other men behind my

Correct me if i’m wrong, but based on the facts presented in the song,
Cicero is the one with the best chance of winning in court right?

I think the thing I love most about this film is that I really feel for the
women despite them being criminals and the characters we shouldn’t like.
And it’s funny how I am on their side agreeing by them being like ‘they
brought it upon themselves’ about the victims and how glamorous and
    powerful they are.

How do you not know that your husband has 6 wives for 2 years?? He was a
mastermind at covering it up or she was really stupid.
