  • And people mock Patti for her poor enunciation. Hm.

  • I missed the game of musical chairs during “Art of the possible” – a subtle
    and humorous reference

  • Frederick London

    so far, Ricky good
    girl playing Eva almost ok
    Magaldi EEEEK
    staging really sucks

  • Glad to see someone remark about the ‘Latin”-ness of the performers – it
was lackluster, wout any bite or sharpness, Argentinian…hardly. It’s
kind of a drab cabaret parade. Could have been lots better. They had the

  • But good job with this one

  • Beatriz Scotuzzi

Elena’s voice is so different! I just love her Eva! (:

  • You tape the full thing of Jersey Boys

  • Vittorio Daniele

Hermoso musical. Bravo Elena Roger y Ricky Martin.
Ojalá se pudiera ver en Argentina con éstos actores.

  • OMG Eva’s voice is so annoying…
She is screaming most of the time

  • Hezekiah Pabico

I love Ricky Martin and he’s great in here but Antonio Banderas pulled off
    Ché better (personal opinion)

  • I thought they were both excellent, especially Elena singing so well after
    SO much dancing.

  • I think that this production of the show is so much better than the
original. It is stylized and has such a clear tone. The
staging/choreography is brilliant. Elena Rogers is an interesting choice
because she’s unconventional. She is not a classically trained Broadway
singer like Patti LuPone so of course she sounds different. Whether
different is better, I’m not sure. She stands out against the very
technical soloists. But really, love her or hate her, you cannot argue with
    the brilliant score and story.

  • Alejandro Di Grazia

Besides that their voices are fantastic, it’s the first time in the
original language interpret two Latinos who feel the acting is. the best
    version of Evita !!!

  • Should of read the deats

  • My school just did this as their musical and we had a district award show
last nigh and our production won 7 awards including best musical.

  • Oh

  • So sad to hear two actors trying to sing beyond their range. I have no idea
why they would hire someone who would have to screech and scream all her

  • Awesome to watch

  • Magnificent! Thank you!

  • Ricky Martin: can’t act or sing. Elena Roger: can’t sing or pronounce.
When Magaldi starts singing, it makes it painfully obvious the 2 leads
    aren’t up to it.

  • My God the choreography is… amazing!!! We had this production a few years
ago in Holland but that sucked compared to this.

  • gracias

  • You do know it’s illegal to record a live performance don’t you?

  • I saw this production with Ricky Martin. Unfortunately I was not able to
catch Elena Roger in the role of Evita. Now that I see her and hear her
singing, I am kind of glad that I watched this musical with her understudy
    and weekend actress.
