Creative liberties are to be expected here at “The Heart of Robin Hood The Musical” knowing that however the character ended up to be, the stories that sprouted from the legend still refer to him as a thief. In the latest offering of the Royal Shakespeare Company in cooperation with Mirvish Productions, Robin Hood starts out as a savage bandit whose change of heart is manifested with the help of Maid Marion. It was also manifested that it was Maid Marion’s idea to have Robin Hood as an ally against the oppressors of Nottingham.

A theater actor than has toured North America and Europe, Troy is based in Toronto as a performance artist. Theatre performances as an actor were seen at the Tivoli Theatre (where he was included in the cast of “Jesus Christ Superstar”) and right in Mirvish itself (“The Lord of the Rings” and “War Horse”). He is also the co-choreographer and performer with the Young Centre for the Performing Arts in the play “Emoticonics”. As performer/choreographer, he is an enlisted member of the Alias Dance Project where he combines dance moves with all-terrain movements.
