Hi theatre friends! Today, we’re discussing everything about the #InTheHeights movie musical, soon to be available everywhere and on HBO MAX! This is an adaptation of the 2008 Tony Award Winning #Broadway musical of the same name.
The films stars Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins, Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, Olga Merediz, Daphne-Rubin Vega, Gregory Diaz IV, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stephanie Beatriz, Dascha Polanco, Marc Anthony, and Jimmy Smits. It’s directed by Jon M. Chu, screenplay by Quiara Alegria Hudes, and based on Lin Manuel Miranda’s musical of the same name. We’re covering what made the movie great, things I found questionable, and trying to figure out WHY they made SO MANY CHANGES. We’ve got a lot to discuss, so let’s discuss IN THE HEIGHTS (2021)
