Rocky Horror Show in Manchester

Ever felt like doing The Time Warp again? Check out the upcoming Rocky Horror Show in Manchester. Manchester is included in the UK Tour of the Rocky Horror Show. In case you haven’t done The Time Warp, welcome to the opportunity to experience it yourself.

Rocky Horror Show in Manchester is home to a bevy of memorable characters. They will take you to crazy situations. This musical is home to hits such as “The Time Warp”, “Touch-a Touch-a Touch Me” and the almost anthemic “Sweet Transvestite”.

“Sweet Transvestite” is actually the song that introduces us to the kind of psychedelia present in the Rocky Horror Show. This is how one of its signature characters introduced himself to a couple of college nerds. And that is Dr. Frank N. Furter. He is a mad scientist holding a party in the Frankenstein place. For what reason? He would like to present his proof that he can create life itself. That creature is Rocky, our titular character.

Well, the college nerds Brad and Janet came in just in time for Rocky’s unveiling. But that was not what they are there for. Their car broke down. And Brad’s idea of asking help is asking permission to use the phone. Dr. Furter let them stay for the night out of “hospitality”. Little did they know how outrageous the temporary shelter could go. It gets you thinking how the raunchy scenes would be staged in Rocky Horror Show in Manchester.

Well for a production with the horror trend in mind during the 70’s. Who would have thought it would be one of the most unforgettable musicals ever staged? It owes much of the success to the music applied on the raunchy story. And boy! Was it raunchy! The devoted fanbase could still imagine Brad and Janet screaming “It’s all your fault!” to Dr. Furter in Rocky Horror Show in Manchester. But let’s not spoil it for the sake of the Rocky Horror virgins, shall we?

Also much of the anticipation is about the antics of Dr. Furter. He is a a sweet transvestite after all. Rocky Horror Show in Manchester would sure be sought for the sexual innuendos and the over-the-top scenes. There would be lines spat with so much gusto. Fishnet stockings, black leather girdle and all. Some performances even get people thinking that Rocky is more of an ornament found beside Dr. Furter. Then again, that’s what Rocky really is intended for.

Dr. Furter’s goal is to create the perfect man. He may be bisexual. But still he chose to create a man and not a woman. Then again, you don’t watch Rocky Horror Show in Manchester only to speculate on the characters’ sexual preferences. What is there to speculate when scenes are practically in your face? Brad and Janet are not spared from the sexual awakening of course. Also, the songs have been lingering in your head. Perhaps way before you witnessed a full-length version of the Rocky Horror Show. Even better, the campy performances are accompanied with insane costumes.

Rocky Horror Show in Manchester will start on January 2016 at The Opera House. Tickets are already available online to purchase. Click here to see details. Deals for multiple purchases might suit you. Calling them is advisable. Hopefully water pistols are allowed.
